Positive Thinking vs. Magical Thinking. How awareness changes your reality?
Many of us associate "positive thinking" with naive optimism or wearing rose-colored glasses. However, there is a fundamental difference between being a conscious, positive person and succumbing to magical thinking.
Understanding this difference is key to effective emotional work and Recall Healing.
What is Magical Thinking? The trap of passive waiting for a miracle.
Magical thinking is a state where your mind is "enchanted" by the hope that, in some magical way, someone or something from the outside will deliver a solution to your problems. It is a passive wait for a miracle that would absolve you of the need for action or a change in your level of consciousness.
The ego loves magical thinking because it allows for the avoidance of responsibility. If you are waiting for "magic," you don't have to face the truth about your emotions.
The Realism of Positive Thinking
Genuine positive thinking is not about ignoring negativity. It's not as if when you are positive, the negativity in this world suddenly ceases to exist for you.
Awareness Filter: Conscious Realism
The difference between magic and awareness lies in responsibility. Check which stage of filtering reality you are at today.
Shadow Acceptance
Don't avoid difficult emotions. Real positive thinking starts by saying: "Yes, I see this fear/anger" instead of denying it.
Intention Radar
Magic is waiting for a miracle. Awareness is an intention set with certainty and letting go of control over "how" it will happen.
Resonance Filter
When you change yourself, you stop resonating with people who deceive or hurt you. They don't vanish, but they lose access to you.
"Awareness is not rose-colored glasses. It’s vision so sharp that you notice the darkness before it notices you."
Let's not fool ourselves: negative people will still appear on your path. But it depends on your awareness whether you give them an invitation to your inner world or simply let them pass by, knowing you have no common path.
"True growth is the ability to look at negativity without judgment, but with full awareness that we do not want it in our lives."
Choose clarity over "spells." Be positive, but remain attentive. This is the only path to genuine change.
